Ren Wu (Water Horse Month from June 5 – July 5, 2020 is about progress and improvement and paving the way for the ‘next generation’. These are noble responsibilities. Ren Wu presents us with the picture of flowing lava, which is about balance in general and balancing the water (emotions) and the fire (the passion).
It represents a very fertile soil and time. Both physically and mentally it prospects a very creative time, full of kindness and nurturing. Now we should focus on long term planning and set goals and ask ourselves: does this, whatever I am planning now, serve me or any long-term goal in my life?
With that in mind, always choose the path of peace and harmony. In terms of health, heart-matters and hormones might play a role as imbalance indicates this month: the water is too steaming hot. A good way to take on your health, is to exercise a detox or cleansing and eliminate any toxins in your body!
Looking at our situation at the moment, we find out, that many things we had, used or did, are no longer of value to us. The reshape of ourselves and our surroundings will thus happen: we re-evalutate what we had and what we really need, and will continue our life in this new ‘modus operandi’. The month of June is an excellent month for this ‘balancing’.
Horse (fire) month in Rat (water) year 2020
As we are entering horse month, being the cardinal animal in the fire season, it is controlled by the Rat of the year, being the cardinal animal of the water season. At least, this month will bring a lot of emotions on the stage of life. Emotions probably, because of people are losing loved ones in these challenging times, but also emotions of change and because people might not ‘take it anymore’: the rules and regulations of their countries, the closing down of the economy, losing their jobs, money and family life. There is suppression of emotions which causes denial and anger. Water is also deep thinking and philosophy, movement, communication, and all these things will be playing a more important role this month. This could also be an indication of people going on the street, protesting whatever is restricting them. On a personal level, if the Horse is one of your four animals: the fire qualities of Horse are very hot and volcanic, and releasing your emotions (water qualities) is necessary. Step back in time and reflect on what is happening, and that will result in success!
Yi Ging Hexagram of June 2020
Hexagram 33 – ‘Retreat’ of this month, where the Universe speaks to us about disengagement: ‘Content in your power, you have no need to engage the obstacle’. One cannot force their will on a situation, it is better to step back and reflect.
Emotions between people, governments, countries etc, can spark a fire, that can burn a whole forest and even burn out of control. It is time to disengage and to ‘de-power’ the obstacle, whatever is the obstacle. Backing down means that it can create greater success, and even find a win/win solution for all parties involved. Retreat it not a sign of failure but of a ‘well thought out’ path to success.
The path to take in June is to withdraw in a friendly matter. Any loss is recognized to be necessary for future growth. This is an example of cutting ties, because it is known to be ‘for the best.’ Letting go of the past happens with no ill will. However, if people are free to come and go or to fulfil their individual needs, persevering in this attitude will lead to good fortune. Our life will never be the same again, after these challenging times, so we might as well let it go and created a positive situation for all involved.

North East: Harmony & Heart
The ultimate constellation for harmonious relationships and (especially in) family life, Perfect to bond and solve problems with others, big groups and to make suitable connections with people. This is an excellent direction to release all emotions between people due to our challenging times. A great time for a public or personal meeting for Influencing and convincing people or winning the trust of others.
When you meet the competition, they will perceive you as a non-aggressive and good person that is not particularly interested in winning, whatever you are discussing. This gives you an advantage over the other, as they do not know what you really think and plan. This is also a perfect constellation for finding medication and asking the Divine for help. Backing this direction will also help to have a clear vision and peace of mind.
Remarks
West: stagnation
People that reside or work in the west area of their house or office this month, will experience some stagnation in their activities. If this is one of your personal auspicious directions: take time for yourself, take care of your body and mind, and withdraw a bit from the worldly happenings, if possible: read a book, do something creative, meditate and connecting to your inner source of Qi (energy) is highly recommended.
